Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara, Grandparents Reece and Atha Mahan of Sparkman, Ark., and Dale and Louise Givens of Sparkman, Ark. During his career, he met many people from all professions and walks of life. He was always professional with the relations between his employers and clients; thus many of his clients became lifelong friends.
Starting now, a move is underway to get a crosswalk bridge over the highway in front of Oaklawn constructed, even over scenic 7. There have been numerous accidents resulting in death at this crossing. This bridge would be the "Jason Reece Givens Memorial Bridge." He went to work for Arkansas Farm Bureau for 23 years starting in Ashdown, then to DeQueen, Hot Springs and ended his career in the state office in Little Rock, as a District Claims Manager. For the last two years, he sold cars for Everett Buick-GMC in Benton. The family would like to express special thanks to Chris Braithwaite , special caregiver and Dr. Gohar Azhar, UAMS.

LeeAnn was a very loving member of our family and will be greatly missed. She was a preschool teacher and loved her children that she kept daily. LeeAnn loved going on drives while blaring her music.

Mark Givens, of Camden, wife Stephanie, daughter Reece Jalynn Givens and son Payne Michael Givens, and a host of friends that were considered family. Scott David Sorrells, age 60, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on October 26, 2022. He was born on December 19, 1961, in Camden, Arkansas. Scott was a graduate of Bauxite High School and attended Saline Missionary Baptist Church. At the age of 17, Scott, along with his father, W.L. Sorrells, founded WLS Sawmill where he worked until his death.
She enjoyed nothing more than hanging out with her family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to either The Alzheimer’s Association or Saline Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund. Scott, along with his brother, Jimmy Sorrells, excelled in timber and land acquisitions and residential developments. Scott was well-known by his family and friends for his duck hunting and duck calling expertise. He also crafted duck calls for those hunters who he considered as friends.
